Bonkheads is a platform game featuring Crag and Thog. It looks like a Super Mario game, in which you have to kill your enemies by jumping and hitting the ground below them. The map has several platforms from which enemies start coming down from the top, once they leave the screen at the bottom-most platform, you have missed them. The more enemies you kill before they escape, the more points you get. So, when you jump below them and hit the ground where they are walking, they fall and stay on the ground for some seconds. If you jump to where they are and run over them, they are killed for good. If not, they will just wake up and continue their descent. There are cash bonuses hidden in the maps and there is also a TNT box that you can head-butt to make most enemies in the map fall on their butts. It is like a power that you can use when many enemies accumulate on the screen.
Graphically, the game is quite plain. The character models don't have much detail and the sound score is kind of boring. Still, the demo, and the three levels that it lets you play are a bit fun, just temporarily. There is also a two-player mode, in which enemies come down faster, but you have help to kill them. Both modes are available in the demo. The full game features 8 more levels, and, thus different types of enemies.
